What you will do:

  • Assist in surgical procedures ensuring a high standard of patient care.
  • Prepare the operating theatre and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are ready before surgery.
  • Support the surgical team by preparing instruments and reducing risks of infection.
  • Monitor and manage patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective communication with colleagues.

Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification:

  • Registered with the NMC or HCPC in the UK.
  • Experience working as a Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner in theatres.
  • Exceptional ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and a considerate, empathetic nature.
