Nurse Assessor - Remote

We are recruiting Nurse Assessors here at Ingeus UK. These roles are remote and will initially be focused on conducting initial reviews and paper based assessments, with the potential to develop into delivery of telephone and video assessments within 12 months. What you'll be doing for the first 12 months as an Nurse Assessor

· Conducting initial case reviews, file work and paper based assessments.

· Triaging cases to determine the assessment route a case will take.

· Liaising directly with claimants, using active listening and questioning skills to obtain additional evidence where needed in order to complete the assessment.

· Liaising with clinical peers across the NHS and private healthcare sector, charities, and support organisations to obtain and evaluate evidence that assists in the production of detailed assessment reports.

· Apply critical thinking and logical reasoning to produce accurate and detailed reports on each case.

What we are looking for:

· HCPC registered Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and NMC registered nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD).

· At least 12 months of post-registration experience in the UK.

· A practising clinician in the UK for at least the last 12 months.

· Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.

· Strong critical analysis, logical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.

· Strong written communication, with the ability to deliver detailed, accurate reports.

· Good typing skills and general IT literacy.
