What you'll be doing:

• You'll proactively manage the care team, ensuring the highest standard of care and support is given to our residents.
• Promote a culture of personalised care that always puts our residents first.
• Providing nursing care and interventions where needed.
• Motivate and support your team, ensuring everyone contributes to the smooth running of the home.
• Act as a role model for other clinical and care team members, always striving for excellence.
• You'll report directly to the Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead, keeping them in the loop on any important matters.

What we're looking for:

• A qualified nurse (RGN with an active NMC PIN)
• Someone with a genuine passion for elderly care and significant experience working in a care home or similar environment.
• A natural leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others.

Briardene, part of the Mariposa Care Group, is an 68-bed facility providing expert nursing, dementia and respite care in a warm and welcoming environment. The home has recently completed a beautiful new two-storey extension with new ensuite bedrooms, a new lounge and dining room for residents to enjoy.
