Job Description

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Rotation of day and night shifts

£23 per hour

If you’re an experienced Nurse with strong clinical skills, this role offers the environment and support to deliver care to a high standard. You’ll join a beautiful, purpose-built nursing home with well-established systems and a strong focus on quality care.

We’re looking for an RGN or RMN with post-registration experience and a solid nursing home background. You’ll need to be clinically confident, comfortable making decisions and able to respond effectively to residents’ changing needs across both day and night shifts.

Please note: Due to the location of the home and the lack of accessible public transport, candidates must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle.

What You’ll Need:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical background and post-qualification experience
  • Experience working within a nursing home environment
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced day shift and make sound clinical decisions
  • Must be able to drive due to limited public transport
  • We cannot accept newly qualified Nurses for this role

Why Should You Consider This Role

  • Work in a beautiful, purpose-built home where the layout and facilities make clinical work more efficient.
  • Enjoy paid breaks and paid NMC fees, ensuring your time and profession are properly respected.
  • Strong training, development and wellbeing support, helping you keep your skills sharp and your workload manageable.
  • Enhanced bank holiday rates to boost your earnings throughout the year.
  • Access a benefits portal with additional wellbeing and lifestyle support.
  • Feel part of a fast-paced service where good systems are already in place.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead safe, effective nursing care during busy day shifts in a dynamic environment.
  • Complete clinical assessments, care planning, and medication management with confidence.
  • Coordinate with the wider team to maintain smooth routines and positive outcomes for residents.
  • Use your clinical judgement to respond to changing needs and escalate when required.
  • Support residents and families with clear communication and a professional approach.

All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, verification of the right to work in the UK, and any other pre-employment checks required for the role, including verification of NMC registration.
