Registered Nurse (RGN) – Nursing Home
Up to £21.50 per hour | Day Shifts, 42 Hours per Week | Permanent

This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a beautiful nursing home providing high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults.
Combining a warm home-from-home atmosphere with modern facilities, the home has been designed to provide residents with the comfort, dignity and individualised support they need. You'll join an established care team where strong clinical practice goes hand in hand with building genuine relationships with residents and their families.
We're specifically looking for an RGN with previous nursing home experience who can confidently manage residents' clinical needs and contribute to consistently high standards of care.
What We're Looking For
- Active NMC registration as an RGN.
- Previous nursing home experience is essential.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence supporting older adults with a range of nursing needs.
- Experience supporting residents living with dementia would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of medication management, care planning and clinical assessments.
- Ability to recognise deterioration and respond appropriately to changes in residents' health.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, infection control and person-centred care.

Your Role
- Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
- Support residents with a range of nursing and dementia care needs.
- Administer and manage medication safely in line with NMC standards.
- Complete clinical assessments and maintain accurate, individualised care plans.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes.
- Work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to coordinate residents' care.
- Provide guidance and clinical support to members of the care team.
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
- Promote dignity, independence and individual choice throughout everyday care.
- Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical practice.
