Full Time/37.5 hours/3x 11.5 hours shifts worked per week
Mental Health Nurse with 6-12 months post registration experience.
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.

Priory Hospital North London has an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team.

Priory Hospital North London is a specialist centre for the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). We also offer private autism assessments for adults.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team and promote the best interests of the clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
  • A qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience is required, along with active NMC registration and completion of a preceptorship programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional standards, and be able to demonstrate ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. They will show a positive attitude and a commitment to change, service improvement, and high-quality care. The ability to adopt flexible and innovative approaches to practice is essential, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills.
