This is an excellent opportunity for a Prison Cleared Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a healthcare team at HMP Bronzefield on an ongoing basis. You will deliver essential clinical care to patients within a secure setting, working closely with multidisciplinary and custodial teams.

What you will do

• Administer medications and provide primary nursing care within a custodial environment.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Monitor and manage patients with both acute and long‑term health conditions.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely patient records in line with clinical governance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with prison staff to ensure patient and staff safety at all times.
• Participate in handovers, team meetings, and service improvement activity.
• Uphold professional standards and infection control procedures in a secure setting.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
• Level 2 prison clearance is essential.
• Previous experience in prison healthcare or secure environments is desirable.
• Strong clinical judgement, professionalism, and ability to work independently on night shifts.
