Contract: Locum – Full Time
Duration: 3-Month Block Booking
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

An excellent opportunity is available for a Prison Cleared Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work at HMP Featherstone in Wolverhampton. This full-time locum role offers a competitive rate of £27 per hour on an umbrella basis, with a secure 3-month block booking. What you will do:

• Manage and coordinate a caseload of patients with a range of mental health needs within the prison setting

• Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and develop person-centred care plans

• Deliver specialist mental health nursing interventions in line with best practice

• Work collaboratively with substance misuse services and primary care teams to ensure holistic care

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records

• Provide mental health advice and support to prisoners

• Liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies as required

• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and manage clinical resources effectively
