What You Will Do

Deliver mental health interventions for service users, covering primary and secondary mental health care needs within the prison.

Manage your own caseload, including assessments, care planning, intervention delivery, and reviews in line with the Care Programme Approach.

Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centred nursing care within the prison environment.

Carry out thorough risk assessments and offer well-informed clinical advice.

Coordinate and facilitate care assessments under the care coordination approach.

Maintain high standards of clinical practice, including treatment, nursing procedures, and medication administration.

Support quality assurance activities such as auditing, monitoring, and reviewing clinical practice in line with current guidance and policies.
