Practice Nurse - Huddersfield

A large Training Practice in the Huddersfield area is seeking to welcome a Practice Nurse to its friendly and diverse team.

• Salary: £20-£23 per hour (higher rate available for experienced nurses)
• Hours: 25 - 37.5 per week
• Annual Leave: 6 weeks + Bank Holidays
• NHS Pension included

The Practice is based in a modern, purpose-built building with excellent disabled access and an onsite pharmacy. It is easily accessible via public transport and offers onsite parking.

The Surgery looks after approximately 9,500 patients, with a slightly higher-than-average older population. It also works closely with local care homes and a young person's home, providing dedicated healthcare support. You would be joining a welcoming Training Practice with 5 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 ACP, 1 Practice Nurse, and 1 HCA, alongside PCN staff who are currently training and receiving mentorship within the Practice.

Applicants must be NMC registered and have at least one year of experience as a Practice Nurse. Skills required include Cytology, Baby and Travel Immunisations, and Chronic Disease Management.
