Practice Nurse

We are recruiting a Practice Nurse for two small GP practices in Wolverhampton, just south-east of the city centre (approx. 5 minutes by car).

Essential Requirement:
You must currently be working as a Practice Nurse or have done so within the last 6 months.
RNs without recent Practice Nurse experience will not be considered.

The Role

You will run a range of clinics, including:

• Cytology
• Baby Immunisations & Vaccinations
• Chronic Disease Management
• Dressings
• Bloods, BP, Urinalysis & Health Screening
• Requirements
• NMC registered
• At least 1 year of General Practice experience
• Recent Practice Nurse experience (within 6 months)

Hours & Benefits

• Part-time: 19 hours (Wednesday & Friday, 8:00-18:30, 30-min break)
• Up to £22 per hour
• NHS Pension
• 4 weeks annual leave + bank holidays
• CPD opportunities

You will need to be registered with the NMC and have at least a year of General Practice experience to apply.

The surgery is within a purpose-built site, parking is available and there is a small supportive team to welcome you.

Hours for this role are part-time, 2 days, 19 hours, Wednesday & Friday, 8 am - 6.30 pm (half-hour unpaid break). Alongside the part-time hours you'll receive a competitive package of up to £22 per hour, NHS pension, 4 weeks of annual leave with bank holidays off and CPD!
