Belfast-based with travel across Northern Ireland
Salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro-rata if part-time)

OH Medical is delighted to partner with a leading occupational health provider to recruit two experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisors:
  • Full-time Occupational Health Nurse - five days per week
Part-time Occupational Health Nurse - two days per week, with flexibility over the working days

The Roles

Based from an office in Belfast, you will travel to client sites throughout Northern Ireland to deliver a comprehensive occupational health service. You will carry out health assessments and surveillance while working closely with colleagues, managers and other key stakeholders.
Both the full-time and part-time roles involve peripatetic working, so applicants must be comfortable travelling across Northern Ireland.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational health assessments and health surveillance
  • Undertake occupational health screening, including audiometry and spirometry
  • Carry out HAVS assessments where required
  • Provide fitness-for-work advice and support case management where appropriate
  • Assist with vaccination programmes and workplace wellbeing initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with HR teams, managers and other key stakeholders
  • Maintain clear, accurate and confidential clinical records
  • Ensure practice complies with professional, clinical and organisational standards
About You

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • An Occupational Health qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Previous practical experience of occupational health screening and surveillance is essential
  • Competent in audiometry and spirometry
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • Able to work independently across different client environments
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland
