What you will do
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
- Conduct medication rounds, dispensing controlled medication, and attending emergency response situations.
- Assess patients and undertake reception screening to ensure immediate healthcare needs are met.
- Utilise your expertise to deliver nurse-led clinics, supported by a skilled multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision by providing outstanding evidence-based care and seeking feedback to personalise care.
- Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a genuine impact, guided by our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework.
- Inspire excellence by building strong ties with partners and stakeholders, ensuring a trustworthy and safe service.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you must have a legal right to work in the UK, and due to the sensitive nature of this position, employment offers will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
- Registered Nurse - Adult with current professional qualification (NMC).
- Demonstrated evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- A deep understanding of the complexities inherent in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
- An empathetic and non-judgmental approach to care.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Familiarity with clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare policies and best practices.
