Exciting locum opportunity for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse within the Community Drug and Alcohol Service (RCDAS) in Richmond, UK. Earn £27 hourly while making a significant impact in the community. This ongoing position offers the flexibility of full-time core hours from 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, with potential adjustments to starting and finishing times for the right candidates. What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care to individuals accessing the Community Drug and Alcohol Service
- Participate in psycho-social interventions, supporting service users on their journey to recovery
- Engage in comprehensive assessments and develop personalised care plans
- Provide essential needle exchange services, conduct blood tests, and administer vaccinations
- Collaborate with partner organisations and local services to enhance service delivery and support
- Facilitate access to detox programs, counselling services, and peer mentoring initiatives
- Advocate for service users and offer guidance throughout their treatment journey

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
A degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing is essential, backed by experience as a Mental Health Nurse. Current NMC registration is required to ensure high standards of care.
