About the role

As a Registered Midwife, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based care to women and newborns. You will work across a range of midwifery settings and actively contribute to positive patient experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence‑based midwifery care across the maternity journey
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Providing a high standard of customer‑focused care to women and families
• Ensuring patient, newborn and staff safety at all times
• Upholding professional, ethical and clinical standards

Essential criteria

• Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a midwife
• Minimum 2 year post‑graduate midwifery experience
• Demonstrated experience across all areas of midwifery, including:
  • Antenatal care
  • Postnatal care
  • Labour & Delivery
  • Special Care Baby Unit
  • Outpatients
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Professional, respectful and compassionate approach to care
