The Role
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive Occupational Health service, supporting both employees and management with expert clinical guidance.
The Occupational Health Nurse will be responsible for:
- Delivering health surveillance programmes and managing escalations from Occupational Health Technicians
- Undertaking case management and fitness for work assessments
- Providing professional advice, guidance, and clinical support to employees and managers
- Assessing new patients within Occupational Health clinics
- Supporting the Senior Occupational Health Advisor in maintaining clinical standards
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Occupational Health team
- Ensuring best practice and high clinical standards are maintained at all times
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this Occupational Health Nurse role, you will need:
- Experience working as an Occupational Health Nurse or Practice Nurse with Occupational Health exposure
- Strong understanding of health surveillance and workplace health assessments
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
- Confident IT skills (including systems, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a genuine interest in Occupational Health
- NMC registration (fees paid as part of the package)
Hours & Working Pattern
- Part-time: 30 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday
- 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Hybrid working:
- Monday working from home
- Tuesday - Thursday onsite in Govan
Salary & Benefits
