This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and skilled Health Visitor within General Nursing to join our team in Swindon, earning an impressive £28.24 per hour. You'll be engaged in an Ongoing role that promises both professional growth and community impact, working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

What you will do:

  • Deliver community nursing support for children, young people, and families aged 0–19.

  • Operate within the Healthy Child Programme and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

  • Manage and prioritise a delegated caseload effectively.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, professionals, and partner agencies.

  • Participate in multi-agency meetings and foster collaborative working.

  • Support and supervise non-registered staff where appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and quality standards.

  • Uphold NMC standards and demonstrate professional accountability at all times.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Midwife: You must be a Registered Nurse or Midwife with an active NMC registration.

  • Safeguarding knowledge: Possess knowledge of safeguarding and community/public health practice.

  • Communication and organisational skills: Exhibit strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Teamwork and independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
