What you will do:

- Conduct thorough forensic medical examinations for individuals who have experienced sexual assault, ensuring adherence to legal and clinical standards.
- Collect and preserve forensic evidence meticulously, maintaining its integrity for possible legal proceedings.
- Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care and emotional support throughout the examination process.
- Prepare comprehensive medical and forensic documentation, suitable for use in legal settings.
- Collaborate effectively with police, safeguarding teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Follow strict guidelines relating to forensic practices, safeguarding, and confidentiality to maintain professional integrity.

Requirements:

- Qualified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is essential.
- Registered Nurse with specialized training in forensic or sexual assault examination.
- Experience in forensic healthcare or within a sexual assault referral service is desirable.
- Ability to provide sensitive care to vulnerable individuals under pressure.
- Strong skills in documentation and handling of forensic evidence.
