Description
Priory Hospital Bristolis looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Managerto join the team on our Private Addictions Ward. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours.
We offer fast access to treatment for a number of mental health concerns and addictions.
Bristol is an ideal place for treating people with complex disorders, including people who may not have responded to previous treatment. We can guarantee that our comprehensive treatment programmes are guided by current evidence-based research.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patient
What you'll bring to the role

You must have active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and meet all requirements for revalidation. Experience as a trained assessor or supervisor is essential, along with clinical supervision experience-formal training in this area is desirable. You should demonstrate evidence of ongoing continued professional development, with a clear commitment to maintaining and further developing both clinical and leadership skills. Good computer proficiency is also required. In addition, applicants should have at least 18 months to 2 years of post-registration experience and be able to demonstrate expertise within a relevant clinical specialty. This position is a leadership role at Priory and during the interview process we will be assessing candidates against our leadership behaviours. - Works as Senior Nurse in a Ward or equivalent area ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, their families and visitors.
- Apply relevant policies and statutory requirements within the ward and hospital framework of governance and communicates requirements to the wider team.
- Ensures that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and that statutory requirements are met.
- Respects and applies the requirements of diversity and inclusion, promoting and role modelling these across the team.
