Role Overview

A fantastic locum opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join the Heal Nursing Team in Fleet, Hampshire. This full‑time role offers a competitive hourly rate of £21.00 and a Monday–Friday schedule, providing both stability and work–life balance.

You will deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in their homes and within the community, supporting individuals with a range of clinical needs. Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do

• Deliver high‑quality community nursing care across Fleet and surrounding areas.
• Perform compression therapy and specialist bandaging.
• Complete male, female, and suprapubic catheter changes.
• Provide sensitive and effective end‑of‑life care, including syringe driver setup and maintenance.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular medications.
• Manage simple and complex wounds, including pressure ulcer treatment.
• Perform venepuncture and other necessary procedures.
• Utilise your own vehicle to travel between patient homes and provide timely care.

Requirements / Candidate Criteria

Essential

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration.
• Experience in community nursing.
• Competency in catheter care, wound care, medication administration, and compression therapy.
• Must have access to a vehicle and be able to travel independently.

Desirable

• Experience in end‑of‑life care.
• Knowledge of community pathways and local Hampshire services.
