Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)

£44,600 | 38.5 Hours per Week

Our client is proud to provide exceptional care within a luxury care home, specialising in supporting older adults with mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. They are now looking for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join their leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with senior nursing and leadership experience who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care while supporting and developing a dedicated clinical team. You'll play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, leading by example, and ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care.

What We're Looking For

  • Active NMC registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD.
  • Previous senior nursing and leadership experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting older adults with mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge with a strong understanding of safeguarding, governance, and risk management.
  • Confident leading, motivating, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care is delivered at all times.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the nursing and care teams, promoting best practice and professional development.
  • Monitor and maintain high clinical standards, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and NMC guidelines.
  • Oversee medication management, clinical assessments, and person-centred care planning.
  • Support the Home Manager with clinical governance, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a positive, respectful culture that values dignity, choice, and independence.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure all records meet professional and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a role model for excellent nursing practice while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
