What you will do:

• Support patients and families through assessment and diagnostic pathways, providing them with the guidance and confidence they need.
• Offer specialist breast care advice and emotional support, ensuring patients feel fully supported throughout their journey.
• Collaborate with clinicians within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to NHSBSP guidelines, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
• Contribute to service development, governance, audits, and quality improvement, helping shape the future of breast care services.
• Support colleagues, new staff, and participate in health promotion initiatives to ensure a cohesive and informed team.

Requirements:

• Registered as an NMC Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Experience in breast care, oncology, or NHS Breast Screening services.
• Exceptional communication and patient support skills to interact confidently and empathetically with patients and their families.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team, showcasing a strong team spirit and reliability.
• Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and clinical governance principles to uphold patient care standards.
