Spire Harpenden Hospital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse to join our highly skilled, friendly and welcoming ward team on the bank.
Spire Harpenden Hospital offers a modern, well-equipped clinical environment designed to support high-quality patient care. The hospital features 64 private en-suite patient rooms, providing a comfortable and private setting for recovery, alongside five operating theatres, including specialist laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic procedures.

The hospital features 64 private en-suite patient rooms, providing a comfortable and private setting for recovery, alongside five operating theatres, including specialist laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
- You will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
Who we're looking for
- You will be a Registered Nurse.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Experience of working in an acute environment
- Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
- A surgical background is essential and to be competent in dealing with post op patients
- Candidates' with orthopaedic ward experience are strongly preferred.
