Join us for an exhilarating opportunity in the heart of Cambridge! We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse to bring their expertise to our dynamic team. This role is within the Mental Health Liaison Practitioner Department and Directorate PCMHS A&SMH, predominantly based in the South Fens, where you will work within community settings and GPs. This locum position is ready for an immediate start and offers flexible working for three months.

What you will do:

  • Conduct initial triages and deliver complex assessments in primary care settings
  • Act as a liaison with general practitioners to ensure cohesive and effective patient care
  • Attend referral meetings to discuss and coordinate patient treatment plans
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff within the team
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and professional standards, maintaining a high quality of care
  • An enhanced DBS check is required to work with vulnerable groups in this capacity
