What you will do:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care requirements of service users in the community.
- Mentor, supervise, and educate qualified and unqualified staff, including students.
- Lead the care for a specified group of older adult service users, ensuring they receive person-centred healthcare.
- Deliver individual and group therapy using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills, facilitating effective recovery.
- Coordinate and monitor care delivery, utilising complex clinical decision-making where necessary to support clients' wellbeing.
- Ensure the provision of necessary physical care, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and rest.
- Respect and support the cultural and personal values of service users while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Develop professional and supportive relationships with colleagues and external agencies to enhance recovery outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with service users, their families, and colleagues to promote understanding and effective care management.
- Play an integral role in risk assessment and management, ensuring safety protocols and safeguarding procedures are upheld.
