I’m one of the creators for nurses.co.uk and I’m here today to talk about my top tips for my fellow nursing students.
As we all know, studying nursing does take up a lot of time, it is a lot of dedication, a lot of patience and hard work.
This can be quite tiring, especially now in lockdown, most of us are just doing theory work.
My Top Tip
My top tip for today is just to remember to take your study breaks.
It is ok to want to get everything done in one day just so you can keep on top of your work and keep organised.
But it is important to prioritise your mental health and prioritise how you’re feeling.
Because if you just smash out all the work in one go, you might not absorb it, it might make you really tired, it might make you overly stressed because you’re pressuring yourself to try and absorb all the information.
Even if its every half an hour, every twenty minutes, ten minutes or however you feel comfortable, take your breaks and it will make a world of difference to your studying ability.
Hopefully that helps you all, thanks for reading.
