Time Management Tips For Student Nurses
Student Nurse, Alexandria, gives a super quick rundown of her top time management tips for Student Nurses who often find themselves running behind.
Hi guys, it's Alexandria Grace, one of the creators for nurses.co.uk.
And today I am sharing with you one of my top tips regarding time management for Student Nurses like myself.
As we all know, or if you don't know, if you haven't started already, placement can be quite hectic.
You have some days that are a lot busier than others, so it is really important to learn how to plan out your day shift or your night shift.
My recommendation would be to always have a notebook or a sheet of paper, even if it's the back of your handover sheet, and write down every hour of the day.
Make a table, and within that table, write what you need to do in certain times of the day, factoring your breaks, because those are really important.
When you need to give medications, when you need to do observations.
You can always ask your supervisor for help with time management, but that is just my main tip.
It is a lifesaver which will definitely help you to have a less stressful day. Hopefully that helps, thank you for watching.
