Have Your Say In The Future Of Nursing - In Partnership With The Open University

I truly value what The Open University does. So I'm really pleased to support them in a survey that will help highlight nursing as a career choice - and I hope you are too.

I would love your support. I’ve teamed Nurses.co.uk up with The Open University to survey nurses & would-be nurses on how the pandemic has impacted your career ambitions. The results will help highlight nursing as a career choice and shine a light on the incredible work you do. It takes less than 4 mins.

The survey has been created and will be managed by The Open University and a communications agency called 23Red. It is called The Open University Nursing Survey 2021. The responses will be anonymous and then aggregated (so, statistical trends, not units of information).

The OU approached us here at Nurses.co.uk to ask if we would help them publicise their survey.

I truly value what The Open University does. So I'm really pleased to support them in a survey that will help highlight nursing as a career choice - and I hope you are too.

The Survey Is For Registered Nurses And Those Considering Nursing

We would love it if our audience of nurses & those who are thinking of becoming a nurse take part.

One of the outcomes of this is that The OU plan to shine a brighter light on the work you (nurses) do, and in so doing it will inspire others to follow in your footsteps.

What Will The OU Survey Ask You?

The survey seeks to find out how much the Covid pandemic has changed the career aspirations and training needs of nurses.

It’s hard to imagine a more dynamic, fast-changing sector than nursing and healthcare in the UK.

As a leading provider of nursing qualifications in the UK, The Open University is really keen to hear about how the pandemic has affected the career aspirations and ambitions of those working in a healthcare / nursing setting, and also those looking to work in this area.

You’ll see in the OU survey that the questions include:

● Has Covid changed your perception of pursuing nursing as a career choice?

● Do you have or are you working towards a qualification which enables you to practice as a healthcare professional?

● Has the pandemic made you think about enrolling in further training?

The Survey Results Will Help Shape The Future Of Nursing In The UK

Whether you are thinking about further training to progress to the next level, or whether you are happy at your current level – The Open University would love to hear from you.

With much public focus on the ‘Nightingale Effect’, after the challenges of the last year, The Open University also wants to hear your thoughts on what’s important to you when studying a course related to your profession and whether you’d encourage others to become nurses.

Complete The Survey In Less Than 4 Minutes

The short survey has been developed to understand more about your nursing career choices and future plans.

With the results, The Open University hopes to highlight the varied careers available in nursing and shine a spotlight on the incredible work you do.

The survey has been kept super short too! It takes less than 4 minutes!
