What you will be doing: As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure women who have been diagnosed with Personality Disorder (PD) or and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), as well as supporting those with a Mental Illness. Young women who are transitioning from CAMHS are also supported. in this mental health service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team at The Chimney's, you will support with mindful practice, high levels of engagement and think on your feet to create activities to aid the recovery for each young woman within their journey. The focus of the service is to enable the young women to work on ways to decrease harmful behaviours and replace them with effective strategies to enhance their lives and help them reach their personal life goals.
