The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in accordance with CQC regulations, internal policies, and the highest standards of clinical and emotional care.About the ServiceThis 58 -bed nursing home provides a wide range of specialist care, Person CareDementia Care (all stages)Permanent and Respite CarePalliative / End-of-Life CareKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with CQC regulations and other legal and regulatory requirementsOversee and manage all aspects of care delivery, focusing on safety, dignity, and individual needsWork closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and commissionersMonitor clinical performance and standards through regular audits and quality assurance frameworks experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager in a nursing or residential care settingStrong understanding of CQC regulations and experience with inspectionsLeadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop a teamExcellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving NMC registration (RGN / RMN / RNLD) - preferred but not essentialNVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health &amp; Social Care or willingness to work towardseWhat We OfferCompetitive salary of £60,000-£65,000 per annum25 days annual leave + bank holidaysPerformance-related bonusesSupport with CPD, training, and further qualifications
