Course Description

This course has been designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills needed to become an elderly care worker and will give you practical knowledge & credentials for your new role.

If you are aspiring to start your career in care work or you just want to boost your knowledge and skills, but don’t know where to start, then this course will set you up with the appropriate skills.

You’ll not need to bring any qualifications or references to this course, as no previous experience will be needed. Any student from any background, and of any age, can enrol with us and learn at their own pace.

Requirements

As long as you are seventeen years old, have a basic knowledge of the English language and are relatively comfortable with rudimentary IT skills, you will be eligible to enrol.

We don’t believe in placing time limits on learning, so you will never have to rush and complete a course before a strict deadline. Just concentrate on your goals and study in your own time and at your own pace with no unnecessary pressure.

Assessment

After successfully completing the course, you will be required to sit an online multiple-choice assessment. The assessment will be evaluated automatically through the system and the results will be provided to you instantly.

Certificate

On successful completion of the course assessment, you will be eligible to obtain the Endorsed Certificate by 'Quality Licence Scheme'.

The Quality Licence Scheme is a brand of the Skills and Education Group, a leading national awarding organisation for providing high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes across a wide range of industries.

This will provide you with a competitive edge in your career, developing you as a standout candidate among all other applicants and employees.

There is a Quality Licence Scheme endorsement fee to gain an endorsed certificate which is £75.

Certificate of Achievement from Knowledge Door

On completion of the course, you will also be eligible for our certificate of achievement (from Knowledge Door) to evidence your new skill and accomplishment, as well as your knowledge and skill set.

The certificate of achievement is available in PDF format, at the cost of £12, or a hard copy can be sent via post at the cost of £35.

This course is approved by The CPD Certification Service to offer CPD verified certification and the hours will count as points towards your own CPD total.
