Laura Woods - Mental Health Nurse
Laura is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with 11 years post qualifying experience.
After working in Psychiatric Intensive Care for 8 years she moved to a Nurse Manager post in prison.
She then gained a MSc in Clinical Forensic Psychiatry.
She has worked as a Matron and is currently in post as a Nurse Consultant.
She shares information on Community Nursing, Nurse Prescribing, Prison Nursing and Forensic Mental Health.
Laura discusses how the mental health service is changing in the face of the current pandemic, and the impact its having on her own mental health.
