Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join the CAMHS Team based in Exeter.
You will be considered for this role if you are a Primary Mental Health Professional, Mental Health Social Worker, RMN and CPN.

Pay rate :
Day - £27 to £28
Night/ Sat - £33 to £35
Sun/ BH - £38 to £41

Hours: Mon to Fri - 9am to 5pm. 37.5 hours weekly.
This vacancy has an initial 3 - 6 months contract likely to be extended

Responsibilities :
  • To provide comprehensive mental health assessment and interventions for children and young people.
  • To work alongside and liaise with CAMHS colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of CAMHS provision.
  • To liaise with the Assertive Outreach Team and inpatient units where appropriate.
  • To liaise with other professionals offering services to children and young people/attend meetings as required.
  • The post holder will be line managed by the Clinical Team Manager but may be required to work across the county of Devon as the pathway model develops.
  • To carry a complex caseload and to work effectively and according to NICE guidelines/ evidence based practice wherever possible to improve outcomes for young people.
  • Working hours will be 37.5 hours and will be flexible, predominantly between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. However, in line with National developments this may involve a requirement for evening and weekend working.
  • The post holder will contribute to the CAMHS out of hours rota.
