Band 5 Staff Nurses (Registered Mental Health Nurse - RMN and/or
Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse - RNLD)
Salary: AFC Band Apply to £30,112 plus a recruitment and retention premia (£2,600 per annum) to be paid every 6 months
We are looking to recruit passionate RMN/LD nurses to our acute inpatient unit based in Doncaster. We have 45 beds distributed over 3 wards, including our 5 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit ( PICU ).
We want to hire nurses who have a real understanding for the needs of this patient group who can bring innovation and change to our services. We see our services as a genuine specialism and are offering the opportunity for you to be part of this.

Recent inspiring projects include nurses providing therapeutic group-work alongside our clinical psychologist, gardening projects in partnership with patients, bespoke personalised behavioural support plans for our patients, and embedding the principles of the Safewards model to inform clinical practice. You must be a qualified RMN or LD Nurse or in the final year of your RMN/LD course. It is important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with acute mental health issues. We want to hire staff that are passionate about mental health, who believe in the recovery model and possess communications skills of the highest caliber. You must show that you are caring and compassionate with a desire to uphold the dignity and safety of the patients you support. You must have an excellent understanding of risk assessment and management and how to work within professional boundaries.
