Deputy (Nurse) Manager-Learning Disability

Located in Thorrington, Essex (near Colchester) the 8 bed service provides specialist complex care and rehabilitation for men with learning disabilities. The team can also support people who have additional mental and physical health needs, and those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The service has its own care pathway on-site from more support, through to more independent living.


Your focus on enabling service user recovery in a compassionate setting will help us achieve our goals – and yours.


Reporting directly to the Service Manager, Our Deputy Service Manager will be responsible for contributing to the effective and efficient day to day leadership and management of the service.

In this role you will; ?
  • Qualified Registered Mental Health / Learning Disability Nurse (RMN/RNLD) looking to progress into a leadership role welcome
  • Highly knowledgeable of CQC guidance and other regulatory requirements
  • A motivational leader with a desire to succeed
  • Experienced & capable of managing in a healthcare setting
  • Credible with multiple stakeholders, a strong leader, able to build consensus and achieve goals through collaboration.
