Service Manager-Learning Disability     


Thorrington, Essex CO7 £ Salary Negotiable dependent on experience. & excellent benefits

Located in Thorrington, Essex (near Colchester) the 8-bed service provides specialist complex care and rehabilitation for men with learning disabilities. The team can also support people who have additional mental and physical health needs, and those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The service has its own care pathway on-site from more support, through to more independent living.


The Service Manager will provide effective leadership to the service and will be a role model to your staff team. Your main focus would be to ensure the team provides safe, sound and supportive care to the people they support.


Working with the multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities and regulatory bodies, you will have overall responsibility and accountability for the delivery of high-quality service and promoting a positive culture.

In this role you will; ?
  • We would welcome applicants who are proven leaders and have worked with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care
  • Nurse qualification/ experience ( Current Pin or lapsed) essential
  • Previous management experience is essential
