Children's Community Nurse

Working closely with our children's commissioners and colleagues in the Pre-birth to 19 services you will be involved in supporting & caring for children & young people 0-18 years with acute, chronic & complex health needs. You will also be involved in the work to reduce attendance at the local A&E department and direct work with local GP practices.
You'll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.
You will hold a RSCN/RN (Child) qualification with significant experience working in a hospital or community environment and with strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You'll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You'll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity.
