(AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. We also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.

Applications are invited from suitably experienced practitioners for the post of Band 6 Specialist Recovery Practitioner with the Bristol Central and East Assessment and Recovery Team, this is a 22.5 hour per week permanent position.
Applicants must have RMN/Social Work or Occupational Therapy professional qualification.
As a care coordinator and assessor, this post will focus on high quality assessment and delivery of focused recovery based interventions. You will be required to contribute towards the planning, implementation and review of care.
You will also be expected to supervise junior members of staff. Applicants will have a commitment to working with service users creatively towards their identified recovery goals and to promote choice and self-management.
The service aims to offer high quality mental health services that are focused and responsive to those with complex mental health needs. Self-management and recovery will be promoted. The service works alongside primary care and other health and social care agencies.
