We are working with a national charity that operate an impressive portfolio of care services across the UK. The company have a mixture of services covering care for younger and older people within their own homes as well as in purpose-built services that provide excellent person-centred care. Amongst some of their services, they boast 'outstanding' CQC reports and have recently promoted some of the best internal staff members to senior management positions.
They are looking for a new Home Manager to run a medium sized care home that provides nursing and residential care for elderly people. This is a well ran home that has a good reputation in the local community and the company have two other care services that have an excellent relationship with the local authority. The home is fully staffed, has only a few bed vacancies and a recent inspection means that the home is now 'Good' in line with CQC requirements.
The successful candidate must be a current Home Manager within an elderly care home that provides nursing care for elderly people, but the company do not necessarily require a nurse qualified Home Manager as they have a Clinical Lead in place. Experience of being involved in a successful care home that has achieved 'good' outcomes with CQC requirements is also very desirable.
The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that they have the capability to run a successful care home service. This position requires a positive person who can recruit, retain and motivate an excellent staff team, build on good relationships with external professionals and essentially, ensure that all residents are cared for to the best possible standard.
We can only accept applications from people who are currently working within the elderly care home sector. We can't accept CV's with a domiciliary, support living or extra care scheme background.

This role is based near Runcorn, Cheshire and is commutable from Widnes, Warrington, Northwich, Liverpool, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Altrincham and St Helen.
The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.

Stage two: Face to face formal: MD and Regional Manager
My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful care home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of up to £45k per annum + benefits.
