Position: Nursing Home Manager
Salary: Circa £38,000 - £40,000
Residential Managers and Deputy Managers as well as Nurse Qualified candidates will be considered for this position.
Purosearch currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Home Manager to join one of the North West's leading private care home organisations. The position is open to experienced care professionals who have experience as a Registered Manager of a Nursing Home and can evidence good performance and quality in previous roles. I am happy to speak with Nurse qualified Home Managers, Nurse Qualified Deputy Home Manager's looking for their next step up and also non-nurse Manager's who have experience of managing a clinical team.
As the Nursing Home Manager you will lead a charming smaller than average Nursing Home based in the Burnley area. The successful Nursing Home Manager will have the full support of an experienced Regional Manager to maintain and improve standards and implement positive changes at the home.
As the Nursing Home Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. As the Nursing Home Manager you will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.
The Nursing Home Manager will be expected to provide strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. The Nursing Home Manager will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents' care and social needs are met in a person-centred way.
As Nursing Home Manager you will engage with the Owners to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You must also ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including CQC, health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.
• NVQ Level 5 (or working towards).
• Experience working within a Nursing Home setting at either Deputy or Manager level.
• Excellent communication skills and people skills.
• Nursing PIN (Desirable but not essential!).
The Nursing Home Manager position offers a generous salary of up to £40,000 negotiable on experience plus a range of employee benefits and company bonus scheme.
