Spire Wellesley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner, with a focus on Scrub, to join our expanding team. You will support across a variety of operations including Orthopaedics, ENT and Gynaecology.

Our Hospital has 3 state of the art Theatres and a 33 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT. We have a Theatre refurbishment planned for early in 2019 bringing even greater technology to our services.
About the role

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
Duties and responsibilities
You will also develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices and plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members.
Who we're looking for
Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with extensive Scrub experience and be used to working in teams with minimum supervision. Competent across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through a practitioner qualification, additional training is also desirable.
