My client is looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN number to join their team at a care home in Cambridge.
You will play a key role in the home, providing convalescence, respite and palliative care to the highest quality at all times. The home also provides supported independent living for young people with physical disabilities, so a wide range of care is available. The aim is to help each resident live a longer, healthier and happier life.
Duties will include:
? Taking responsibility for the well-being of all residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met – including personal care/hygiene, assisting with meals, providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities
? Leading, motivating and mentoring your team and delivering clinical guidance and training
? Carry out detailed assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
? Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to standards, policies and legislation
? Generally promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by providing the very best standards of care.
? Will possess a demonstrable passion for caring for the elderly and infirm
? Have a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team
? Ability to delegate effectively
? Able to promote excellent customer relationships
? A willingness to coach, guide and support your team – provide formal and informal programmes of teaching
? A genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct
? A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature
The rate of pay is up to £16.32 per hour, DOE, plus incentive bonus. Other great benefits and perks associated with this role include bonus, healthcare, pension and much more.
