Spire Dunedin Hospital in Reading has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join us in our Cancer Services Team. You will be joining our supportive team to provide exemplary planned care for breast cancer patients across the whole cancer pathway.

Duties and responsibilities
As the Breast Care Nurse, you will be providing care to both newly diagnosed patients and long term follow ups. You will attend the breast clinics to support and assess the patients and their needs, whilst ensuring patients understand their treatment options enabling them to give informed consent. With patients and their families under considerable amount of stress, you will need to provide support to both.
Who we are looking for
Ideally you will be a highly experienced Registered Nurse with previous experience within cancer services. A breast care and cancer accredited qualification or equivalent is essential due to the specialist nature of this role. You will have the ability to work on your own, and be flexible with days worked in order to provide continuity of care for patients. It is vital that you are able to work as part of a team and also independently as you will be required to manage your own caseload.
