Our client is the major Health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey , in the Channel Islands. We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join their busy mixed Paediatric Ward team.
The Paediatric Unit is a nine-bedded ward, providing all Acute Paediatric care for the Island, and as such would suit a Paediatric Nurse seeking an opportunity to utilise and develop a wide range of skills.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The current Guernsey Band 5 salary is up to £34,173 plus higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.

Their Health Service provides excellent Paediatric care, supported by Great Ormond Street, London, by modern equipment and Nurses recruited to a very high standard.
Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.
Paediatric-trained Nurses with at least six months post-registration experience, but newly qualified Nurses are welcome to apply dependant on current staffing levels.
Adult-trained Nurses with at least two years full-time experience in an Acute Paediatric Ward setting.
