Head of Clinical Services-Occupational Health
Full time permanent role
South East & London
Salary 55k plus car allowance, bonus scheme
Our client an establish healthcare provider is looking to recruit a Head of Clinical Services
to cover the South East & London area.
To provide leadership and support to the clinical team to meet the strategic aims of the treatment and OH service.
Responsibility for taking the lead on the overall service delivery on all contracts within the allocated geographical area and maintain an awareness of any issues on all contracts.
Attending all contract review meetings, preparing the centre report in consultation with the Account Manager and ensuring any actions arising from the meetings are taken by the appropriate individuals (Account Manager and Clinical Performance Manager).
Responsible for ensuring the KPIs and productivity targets outlined in the performance policy are met and all clinical services are delivered in line with the tender specification,
Ensuring the day-to-day OH service delivery is running smoothly and is being managed effectively. Overseeing the management of contracts to ensure all team members deliver highly proactive OH/ Employee Health and Wellbeing service based on prevention, early intervention, good quality assessments of fitness for work, training and education and encouraging employees to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.
Take the lead on liaising with the client and key stakeholders within the business to ensure a proactive approach is applied to health surveillance and the establishment management of the risk matrix. Working with the client to identify risks and the associated surveillance or fitness for work assessments required.
To set, develop and maintain standards in line with SEQOHS accreditation.
Attend meetings and wider regional or nation groups/ forums as required.
Responsible for the clinical governance of your team and the quality of clinical service provided by each member of the team, taking a proactive approach to managing performance where appropriate. Undertake clinical and internal audits in line with company policy and maintain appropriate records. Ensure full records are kept of any internal or clinical audits and any actions resulting from Clinical and internal audits are taken and followed up accordingly.
OH Degree Qualification or equivalent
Occupational Health and H&S legislation
Proven clinical leadership of a multidisciplinary team including; physiotherapists, Occupational Health Advisors, Occupational Health Technicians.
Innovative and adaptable, with proven leadership and management skills.
Proven clinical/managerial experience with the ability to motivate a team to achieve the contractual requirements.
Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels both written and oral.
A valid Full UK driving licence.
