The Haematology Services at UCLH have recently expanded to become the largest Haematology service in Europe – based in two state of the art inpatient and daycare hospitals.
One of the service developments has been to create a team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners working alongside junior doctors, providing a 24 hour, 365 day service, in delivering responsive, safe and effective clinical care and treatments to Haematology and Oncology in-patients. Successful post holder(s) will be able to independently assess, investigate, treat, discharge and/or refer patients as required.
The role would suit experienced cancer nurses working currently at Band 7/8a who have successfully undertaken a physical assessment course(s) and are or training to become qualified non-medical prescribers. There are currently 2 full time vacancies (37.5 hours/week).
Comprehensive induction, orientation and ongoing training will be provided to the right candidate(s) who can help deliver high quality care whilst pushing the boundaries of nursing to the benefit of patients.
