We have 7 Post-Acute Medical Wards at Kings College Hospital - Denmark Hill site covering general medicine and a range of medical specialisms such as respiratory, gastroenterology and diabetes. We are looking for an experienced and motivated nurse with a passion for medical nursing to join our clinical leadership team as Ward Manager for Mary Ray Ward. Mary Ray Ward currently provides care for general medical patients who are acutely unwell. It also has a team clinical staff with expertise in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Diabetic conditions. The ward manager and nursing staff work closely with the Multi-disciplinary team to ensure our patients receive a positive experience during their stay in the ward.
The ward has recently recruited to most of its Nursing positions so now boasts a healthy nursing establishment.
If you are looking for a new and challenging role and enjoy working in fast paced environment then this could be the role for you. We are looking for a senior nurse with the ability to lead a ward team who demonstrates; enthusiasm, a positive leadership style, exceptional clinical standards and a genuine patient focus. Experience in managing the care and treatment of patients with diabetes and diabetic foot conditions, would be desirable in the successful candidate. In return you will be offered support through an individualised development plan and clinical coaching in addition to access to internal and external training opportunities.
