Operations Manager – Nursing Homes South England SALARY NEGOTIABLE £70,000 - £75,000 PLUS COMPANY CAR and Excellent BENEFITS!
My client has an exciting opportunity for a Operations/ Peripatetic / Service Improvement Manager to join the management team in supporting home managers of challenging homes to turn around or improve on current standards. Reporting into the Operations Director you will be based in various projects where operational challenges have been identified.
You will help to shape, refine and deliver a unique approach to care. Using your strong leadership skills you will ensure residents care and social needs are met in a person centred way. You will develop a robust performance management system in line with best HR practices to manage staff and staff retention. You will be a role model who inspires the team to develop further.
You must be commercially astute and have the ability to identify ways to obtain maximum occupancy and drive new revenue and quality improvements to turn services into centres of excellence.
You will have excellent working relationships with external regulatory bodies such as CQC, Social Services etc. and if necessary become the CQC registered manager for the home.
Having extensive experience as a successful home manager within care homes for older people is a must along with Good CQC reports. A nurse qualification would be ideal but my client will look at strong candidates who are non nurses.
