Band 5 Research Nurse – Dementia Research
Research & Innovation are looking to recruit a band 5 nurse to work with our Dementia Research Team, based in the Bristol Brain Centre, based a Southmead Hospital.
This will be an exciting opportunity to gain research experience in a friendly and supportive environment.
The research role will include:
recruitment and monitoring participants according to trial protocols
ensuring data entry and site files are inputted and maintained according to study protocols and ICH-GCP guidelines,
reporting adverse events according to NBT Adverse Events Reporting Policy
assessment of patients and referral to allied health professionals as required with any concerns
You will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills related to research and research delivery and its wider impact and benefits to patient care, as well as improving your existing knowledge of all things related to neurological illness
Additionally you will be able to network and be part of our wider research infrastructure team of approx. 140 Research Nurses/AHP who are employed to support and deliver research across the trust
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, motivated who can management their time effectively, experience in Dementia is essential.
This appointment is offered on a fixed term basis to accomplish a particular task or assist in defined projects which is expected to last for a discrete period of time and is specifically research grant / study funded.
North Bristol Trust cannot at this present time extend or renew it beyond its expiry or expiry of funding.
