Deputy Care Home Manager
Purosearch are currently looking for an outstanding Deputy Home Manager to manage and develop a care home team in the delivery of high quality care and service in support of the Home Manager. The home has a fantastic local reputation and provides residential care to the elderly and people living with Dementia. This is a non-nursing home and the position does not require candidates to be Nurse qualified.

The Deputy Home Manager will report into the Home Manager and you will be expected to deliver operational and commercial success in collaboration with the Senior Management team.
The Deputy Home Manager will be a passionate and caring social care professional and will ideally be working as a Deputy Manager at present. A willingness to work alongside your team on the floor and display best practice is a must as is the ability to complete supernumerary hours in the office.
The Deputy Home Manager will have experience of working in an older person setting, producing well developed care plans. The Deputy Home Manager will have worked with and mentored a small care team and have a track record of supporting more junior staff.
Role Requirements of the Deputy Home Manager:
·NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
·NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management (Desirable but not essential or working towards).
·Excellent communication skills.
·Supervisory experience within an Elderly Residential Home.
·Excellent knowledge of CQC requirements.
·Experience of carrying out training, appraisals and supervisions.
